yes it is a strechtching for the inner thighs and hips not for feet
more of a groin stretch than a feet stretch
turnout comes from your inner thighs and abdominals though.
how do i activate this inner thighs when i am standing in first positon outwards?
you know what im not too sure myself… all i know is it comes from your inner thighs and abdominals i have terrible turn out myself but i dunno i just co ordinate my muscles and i can feel when im using my inner thighs…its actually quite hard. best off asking a dance teacher. sorry.

One part is right, the inner thighs must be stretched…but the turnout also comes from the little muscles in the hips

I naturally can have my thighs and knees all the way down while my feet are touching my groin. are there any stretches that go further than this?
