This video shows some incorrect procedures. They are damaging. Never point or pull your feet in this type of a stretch as it not only loads other structures and interferes with biofeedback of the main muscle which should be getting stretched but can damage the knee capsule if feet are pulled. Feet should be totally relaxed. Professional ballet dancers often have a short 6 year or so career because they do improper techniques such as this and injure themselves causing eventual permanent damage.
